IPL 2025 Ticket Information
Two major methods (online and offline) were used to book/buy IPL tickets in the Indian Premier League previous season and the same ways can be used to book the TATA IPL 2025 tickets for the upcoming matches and selected venues you desire. Both ways have some pros and cons you should make sure before choosing any of the two methods. Also, the IPL tickets’ prices depend upon several factors including the match profile (normal match, playoff match, or final match), venue, and the seat category (normal and VIP).
1: IPL 2025 Tickets Online
BCCI and IPL franchises partner with various platforms, including BookMyShow and PayTM Insider (in previous seasons), for online ticket booking which makes the process of buying IPL tickets easier and avoids suffering any scams, you can also buy the IPL tickets from the IPL, Teams, and Venues official websites. Booking IPL tickets online is highly recommended because it does not need any tough requirements or a specific place where you are, you can easily buy the IPL tickets for your desired venue or the match you want to see live in the stadium, it does not matter wherever you are.
To buy the IPL tickets online, go to the platforms’ official websites or their apps, create an account, select a match or a venue for which you want to book the tickets, select the ticket numbers, put the information such as your full name, email, phone number, etc, and then confirm your payment successfully by using multiple payment methods including Debit/Credit Card or Digital Wallet. Once you complete your transaction, you will receive a message through your phone number or email, ticket delivery typically takes 1–2 business days but may take longer in some cases.
2: IPL 2025 Tickets Offline
Buying IPL tickets offline is the second and one of the oldest methods to confirm your desired place to attend the match live in the stadium. It does not need the knowledge to use the internet, mobile phones, and websites. You will directly go to the stadium’s box office and buy the IPL tickets from the stadium’s counter by using the different payment methods that the stadium allows such as cash, Debit/Credit Card, Mobile Digital Wallet, etc.
Apart from stadium box offices, IPL teams may also sell tickets at select retail stores, franchise outlets, or mall kiosks. Keep an eye on official announcements for offline ticket availability near you. IPL ticket prices vary based on factors like match type (group stage, playoffs, final), venue, and seating category (regular, VIP, hospitality). Prices typically start from ₹500 for league matches and can go up to ₹50,000+ for premium seats in the final. IPL tickets are usually non-refundable, but in case of match cancellations, refunds may be issued as per the ticketing platform’s policy.
